Existing clients (“Referrers”) receive one (1) AU$100 gift card for each Eligible Referral that settles a loan with us.
A person who:
First-home purchase, refinance, residential investment, or commercial lending settled with us as broker. Excludes applications withdrawn, declined, not proceeding to settlement, or pre-approvals that never settle.
We issue the gift card within 30 days after settlement is confirmed, and our commission is received.
Fair-use cap: maximum 10 rewards per Referrer per financial year. We may approve higher volumes in writing for bona fide consumer referrers (not businesses).
Gift cards will have a minimum 3-year expiry, no post-purchase fees, and a clearly displayed expiry date, in line with the Australian Consumer Law. If “no expiry” is provided by the issuer, we’ll state that clearly. Gift cards are not redeemable for cash, subject to issuer terms.
The reward is earned only if settlement occurs. This is not a game of chance or trade-promotion lottery.
We do not make unsolicited offers of financial products. We’ll only contact the Referred Person with their consent, consistent with the hawking prohibition under the Corporations Act and ASIC RG 38.
Any emails will comply with the Spam Act 2003 – we’ll only send email with prior consent, clear sender identification and a functional unsubscribe. Phone contacts will respect the Do Not Call Register Act 2006; we will not call numbers on the Register without consent.
We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). We will collect the Referrer’s and Referred Person’s details for administering this program and providing credit assistance, and in line with our Privacy Policy. Individuals can request access/correction.
Our brokers act in the consumer’s best interests per the NCCP/ASIC guidance. The reward does not influence credit assistance or product recommendations.
This program is for consumers referring friends/family. It does not create an employment, agency, or credit-provider relationship.
We may refuse or cancel rewards where we reasonably suspect ineligibility, fraud, or self-referrals (i.e., the Referrer and borrower are the same person/entity).
We can vary, suspend, or end the program with notice on our website. Changes don’t affect referrals already settled or rewards already issued.
WA Consumer Protection reiterates the national 3-year minimum expiry rule for gift cards. We’ll ensure our chosen gift card provider complies.
Rewards may have tax implications for Referrers depending on personal circumstances. We do not provide tax advice.
